The real secret to getting what we want.
So many of us are busy chasing what we want. Never finding satisfaction. This is especially difficult after we come clean. We thought life was supposed to be great if we didn't have to struggle with cravings and withdrawals anymore. Yeah no. Afterall, there was a reason why we once succumbed into the claws of addiction, and it wasn't cos we felt that our life was just too damn amazing, that we needed to drink to that, or whatever.
Nahh, there is always the same story of some sense of hollowness following up to the tale of addiction.
What we don't realize oftentimes is, that we can't catch what it is we want.
We need to create it. We need to become it.
Most of us are busy trying not to get rejected. When we don't risk rejection, we blend into the many shades of depressing gray that makes up the sky of hazy february. Greatness is standing out. Greatness is daring rejection. Only what I give to you can I have myself. The spiritual field is opposite that of the material. And this is the key. Instead of wanting, we need to create abundance from a mustard grain of faith. If I want kindness, I need to be it. If I want love, I need to give it.
Everything is faith based in the spiritual realm and nothing is ours til we give it freely.
We can only experience what we are not attached to caging in.
We are always so busy trying to get something from others. their admiration, their respect, their attraction, their acknowledgment.
The experience is always a lack. We never find that which we are looking for, cos we first need to give it out ourselves. That, is faith.
Faith is the element that determines whether we will take the next step into our future.
If we have no faith, we will always choose to stay stuck where we are. Regardless of how toxic it might be. We will always choose the comfort of knowing what is, over the discomfort of the unknown, when we choose to have no faith.
Faith is a conscious choice. Yet we make it a matter of feeling. I don't feel like it today - I am not feeling like it. We never feel like it. It is a conscious decision we make at a specific point in our life. We usually decide to have faith during circumstances where we might feel there is no other choice. We then choose to act in faith moving forward and from thereon we build momentum and can begin to trust the process, because we get unstuck. Even though new challenges may appear, it doesn't diminish our faith, if we choose faith in all our actions - knowing that sometimes when things don't work out in a certain aspect of our life, it is not the end.
Nothing is ever the end.
The end is something we created with our fragile ego. The end is something we created based on our insecurities and lack of self-worth. If we understood that our worth is always the same regardless of our achievements, we would not be so fragile and we would also be able to let ourselves go and try more things that might result in "failure" - as well as the things that result in dreams turned real. And that is the only thing that matters: continuing on until we create what it is we crave for. That is faith in God,, in this life, in others and in our self. And faith is a choice. Giving out from when we think we have nothing is faith. Acting upon it is what will create what we want in life.
